The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is for current DelVal undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates with disabilities who are seeking internships or permanent jobs with the federal government.
The Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) and the Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) are collaborating to host the Federal Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP). The WRP is a recruitment and referral program that connects students with disabilities to federal recruiters to accelerate the process of securing an opportunity with the federal government. The program presents a wide range of opportunities with the federal government, and opportunities to build a professional network, and gain greater insight into future career opportunities.Â
DelVal will not be participating in the Work Force Recruitment Program in 2024. However, DelVal seeks to resume the program next year.
Student program registration begins on August 21 and closes on October 12. You will register by visiting wrp.gov, clicking on the student registration button, completing the form, and pressing submit. Your registration will be approved by OAS/CSPD staff, and then you will receive future instructions on how to complete the WRP application. The CSPD is planning to offer targeted events and support for students who register for the WRP process, and more information will be available in the fall semester.
- A guaranteed informational interview with a federal recruiter affiliated with the WRP and head start on your federal job/internship search
- DelVal support in completing the WRP application and with requesting accommodations for the WRP interview (if/as needed)
- Individualized resume review and interview preparation guidance from the CSPDÂ
