The Office of Accessibility Services is happy to share that we chartered a chapter of an honor society for students with disabilities at Delaware Valley University. The inaugural induction ceremony for the Iota Mu chapter of Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society was held April 25, 2024. Please click here to read the full news release article.
About the honor society:
Delta Alpha Pi is an International Honor Society which was founded in 2004 at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and is open to undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities. In order to be inducted into the honor society, students must:
- Present with a documented disability and work with the office of Accessibility Services or self-identify as an individual with a disability.
- Demonstrate an interest in disability services ï‚· Have completed a minimum of 24 credits (undergraduate students), 18 credits (graduate students)
- Earn an overall GPA of 3.1 (undergrad students), 3.3(graduate students)
This Honor Society recognizes the academic accomplishments of students with disabilities and facilitates development of skills in leadership, advocacy and education for participating students - .
