As a student in the horticultural therapy certificate program, you'll have a hands-on opportunity to learn the knowledge and skills to work in social, therapeutic and vocational horticultural settings.
You'll study the theory and history of horticultural therapy. You'll gain experience developing treatment plans and therapeutic activities for a variety of client populations, and engage clients in therapeutic activities. You will learn about designing facilities for special populations and getting started in establishing and managing a horticultural therapy practice. All this and more, the certificate can be completed in just three six-week courses.

This credit certificate is available as a stand-alone program and to all undergraduate degree students to complete as part of their studies, regardless of their majors.
